I always think about stuff I want to post while at work, but by the time I get home, I’m either too tired or there’s too many other things I need to do.  Posting never seems to get done.  I found one program that says it’s supposed to change my phone’s notes into a word processing program so I’m going to give it a whirl just as soon as I find the usb cord for my phone…lol  In he mean time, I’m still alive, still doing okay, and just being too lazy to post with the frequency I would like to. =(

Post some comments and let’s find out if there are any error messages popping up.  One little bitty space where it doesn’t belong and boom…the whole thing breaks.  *sigh*

I haven’t been online enough to fix my site and there are still some issues.  I also wan to get he forums up although Krieger is still going on.  Turns out I just couldn’t see it with firefox.  I’m off all this week except Tuesday and Thursday (the two days TBF has off.  /boggle)  Hopefully I’ll fix the issues during this time…especially since TBF is going to Abilene tonight and won’t be back until Monday.  Without him as a distraction, I tend to get more stuff done…lol

I’m such a sap.  Tuesdays and Thursdays TBF and Lee go to school leaving just 4 of us techs - 1 that’s still training and 1 that’s been there for a very long time but no longer likes to work.  That leaves 2 of us scrambling to keep up with things and it’s very difficult.  When the other tech went on vacation for a week, I thought I was going to go insane on Tuesdays and Thursday.   I couldn’t do that to them…make them struggle like that.  So I didn’t take the full week off. =/  During the summer, I’ll take a full week.  There will be enough people to cover so I won’t feel bad…and I’ll still have a few days to use as long weekends. =)

Yesterday morning I was looking around for forums to add to my site since the Krieger forums seem to be down now.  Rather than doing that, I borked the site.  Luckily, Tymoriel  came to my rescue last night and helped find the issues.  The forums aren’t working yet; however my site is back up - minus a comment by Cherlin. =(

As if that weren’t bad enough for the morning, Dante managed to slip out the gate while I was texting TBF and leaving for work.  While trying to get him IN the gate, Petey got out.  Off they went.  After 30 minutes of me chaising them and them letting me get close only to run again, I couldn’t wait any longer and left for work.  I called my mom and it just happened that she was near my place.  She stopped by and the dogs saw her pulling into the drive and came running.  She walked into the yard and they followed.  She walked right out and shut the gate behind her.  *sigh*  it was so much work for me and not for her…lol  She then texted me “Pet don in fence.”  I thought she meant put dogs in the fence, but that was shorthand for Petey and Dante in fence….lol

I got a text from TBF about 30 minutes before I left work that said, “You need to hurry and get off!”  I texted back, “I’m off work now!” and as I walked out to my car, there sat TBF in his car, “Get in, we’re going for ice cream.” …and we did.  Ice cream was good and with the help to get my site fixed afterward, I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to a bad day. =)

this site gets between 15 and 30 hits a day.  Why is it you people don’t comment more?

I DL’d a stat counter and demoted a few people from admin to subscriber in order to pick up the stats correctly.  You can bet that if I need help with stuff, I’ll bump you back up and bug you until you help me….lol

My net was down for about a week.  It was driving me insane!  I called and they told me I hadn’t made my payment.  *blush*  I mailed it in.  They said they’d mail me a direct pay thingy so it wouldn’t happen again.  After a few days, I called and they said “That’s not why it’s down.  You’d have to be really far behind for that.  Something’s wrong…”  Well, duh.  After proving to the guy that it wasn’t anything on my end, he said he’d get me fixed and he did!  Whew…that was a rough week.

If you look to the left, you’ll see a new blog listed.  Some of you know Zhane.  Some of you do not.  He’s one of the most imaginative people I know.  He’s looking to hone his writing skills.  I figured you all would not only be entertained by his creativity, but could also give him some feedback to help him along with his writing.  Don’t hold back.  Tell him what you think. =)

I broke my site even worse trying to fix the upgrade issues.  Xano fixed it for me last night…even without me.  I stood him up.  Fell asleep watching TV with Vanessa…lol

I was trying to upgrade to WP2.2 and instead, broke my dashboard page.  It’s got a lovely “Call to undefined function: get_private_posts_cap_sql() ” error.  The suggested fix was to reload that file, which I did, but it sure didn’t fix for me.  I’m sure it’s something easy that I simply don’t understand, but for now, I’m stuck with 2.1.2 and a broken Dashboard page.
