Busy Week
After a little prodding, I’m finally back to update….lol
Henley got his heart worms shots last weekend. He got it in his right back (just above the hip) on Saturday then his left side on Sunday. He’s having trouble getting up and down. Other than that, he’s doing well. I let him in and out the front door when I can to help keep him from squatting to go through the doggie door. He won’t make a mess in the house, but he will stand with his head out side the doggie door for quite a while before he finally hunkers down enough to go outside. I think it’s began easing up a little, but that might be my wishful thinking or his gettin used to it because he still doesn’t get up if he doesn’t have to. =/
School started this week. TBF, Rebecca, and Ethan all started school Monday. Ethan has this school supply list that looks like it was made for first graders. Box of tissue, map colors, markers, construction paper… That’s just for English and Biology. /boggle Why do they make tax free weekend the weekend before school starts - before you know what the high school students will need?
The week before school started, Ethan went with is best friend’s family to Beavers Bend start park in Oklahoma. He had a blast and came back on his birthday Sunday. We went to Texas Roadhouse for steak dinners - his choice. He’s waiting on his birthday present - Halo ODST.
The puppies are doing great - although they don’t want to use the restroom outside if it’s raining or too hot or basically if they think they can get by with it. =/ Luckily though, they go on the tile where it’s not such a hassle to clean up - but let’s face it, it’s gross regardless of where it is. The problem is, I’m not always home to inforce the issue and I’m the only one that does.
I’ve got ideas for a few more posts I’d like to make, but time to get the day started here..and trying to finish up Prince of Choas to finally complete The Great Book of Amber.

That’s great news about Henley, hope that it is easing up for him a bit.
The Chronicles of Amber, one of my all-time favorite series!
