I can’t sleep and I’ve been surfing the net for a couple of hours.  We went to the boyfriend’s parent’s house last night and I spent a couple of hours spoiling his new nephew.  As I rocking the baby and keep his hands away from his face that he was desperately trying to scratch to stay awake, the boyfriend’s said, “You look like a natural.  It’s like you’ve done this before.”

I said, “Just a few times.”

I walked away from there wondering if TBF wants kids.  After he decided that he can’t live without us, he also stated that h doesn’t think he wants children any more considering we have three and if he has a child, he can no longer be a child.  Money for games and toys turns into money for diapers and children’s toys.  I don’t know if he said that because he was trying to make me feel better or if he really feels that way.  I can see him thinking that…but I can also see him saying it for my benefit.  Either way, that and a couple of posts from gaming friends going through divorces started making me scared again.  I’m gun shy when it comes to relationships and I know it.

Changing the topic, I got new bedroom furniture…well, knew to me.  I’d been looking for a new dresser for a while and my mom was helping me out.  I hadn’t heard from her in a few days so I called and asked if she was still looking.  She said, “You’re going to make me tell you, aren’t you?”  She found some old furniture on Criagslist that people were giving away.  The tops were all stained and it needed some work, but nothing she and my dad couldn’t do.  Because the furniture had a laminate top on it (which is why it was being given away), they couldn’t sand it down and refinish it…so they put formica tops on it.  The pattern is a marbled mix of browns.  It turned out pretty.  The rest of it could all be fixed with furniture polish and those neat little pens that cover nicks. It looks great!  I got two night stands, a highboy, and a dresser all for $60 total (that includes all the stuff to fix it and the gas it took to go get it).

Just a couple of weeks ago, I got home to find a new kitchen table…lol  My mom had found it on Craigslist while looking for me new chairs.  $50 for a walnut table with 2 leifs and 6 chairs (2 captains chairs).  Nothing at all was wrong with it.  It looks great!

I’m going to have to work a little harder to get the other two puppies sold.  They’re starting to get more personality and I’m starting to get more attached.  It’ amazing to me how Mia can walk through the house and all you hear are her nails against the tile floors.  These two tiny puppies though walk through the house and sound like a heard of elephants…lol  They come running to me as soon as I walk in the door and start jumping up and down, tails a wagging.  I don’t know if they do it because Mia does or if they just know I’m a sucker and will pet them and usually give them treats…lol  They don’t do this to the guys though.

I’m going to try to get some more sleep before taking Ethan to school.  I have the day off since I worked last weekend.  W00t!  I needed a three day weekend. =D

I was looking through craigslist and Kijiji trying to decide if I should post my puppies for sale on there, when I found an ad wanting a female Morkie.  I emailed her and explained that while I didn’t have a morkie, I had Yorkie De Tulears.  She wanted to see a pic.  I sent it and she said, “I want the one in the middle!  Is it a girl?”  It was.  My mom’s gone to meet her this morning (I have to be at work and wouldn’t have had time).  They turned 6 weeks old on Sunday and one sold already.  Everyone is going, “You should have more.”  but I’m so not into bringing more puppies in.  I think there are plenty around that need homes without breeding more in.  They are super cute though…and I hope the other two go just as fast before I get more attached!

It’s been spring break and I’ve been doing nothing with the family…lol  Ethan and Robert both went fishing - although not together.  Ethan went with my dad and Robert went with his best friend’s family.  They both came back sunburned and without any fish…lol

I’m loving my phone; however, I can’t do all the stuff I want without hacking the phone.  I’m seriously considering doing this, but I’m afraid of voiding the warranty. =/  Why do they limit you on stuff you’re phone’s capable of doing?  Grrrr.  The good news is that the memo section on this phone holds more than my old phone so I can actually do mini blogs in that if I want…but the word program requires me to hack the phone. =(  After seeing my phone and playing with it, one of our pharmacists went and got the same phone…lol

I’m going to have to take pics of the puppies and post them this weekend.  They’re getting so cute.  One of them has discovered it can bark, but the other two are still silent other than growls that sound like purrs….lol  I love my Valentine camera too btw.  15x optical zoom rocks!!  It’s a Nikon CollPix L100.  It didn’t get super reviews there; however, it’s the one I liked (go go zoom) and doing exactly what I wanted it for…plus it was on clearance and a display so Robert got it, a memory card, batteries, and the extended replacement warranty all for under $200.  A great Valentines gift if you ask me.=)

For about a month now, when I boot up my computer, it comes up in presentation mode and all my desktop icons go byebye.  I would have to manually turn off presentation mode and then clicky the desktop, change the view, unclick the view desktop icons and reclick it in order to get them back.  I kept searching for a fix, but the only fix I found was to restore to an earlier point in time….and unfortunately, I had no restore point. =(  Every day I would search trying to find another fix without restoring vista.  FINALLY (at 4:45 this morning) I found one a blog where someone had noticed their power mode was changed to quiet mode.  Sure enough, THAT was the culprit!  I changed the power mode and viola!  I’m fixed.  *CHEERS*  Now I feel for all those people that restored needlessly….and now I’ll create a restore point of my own…LOL

I ordered a new usb cord off ebay.  It came in the mail; however, I left it in my car when I has some repairs done. (Nothing major, just some vacuum hose thingies replaced.) I finally got my car back and remembered to bring it into the house (the cord, not the car).  Not two days after downloading all my pics and stuff, I was in the living room watching a movie (Kill Bill on our new Blu Ray - to my surprise, I loved the movie!), when one of the doggies decided they wanted to eat my phone.  I’m not sure which little beast did it, but I’m thinking of having a mold made of their teeth just so I can find out!!!  There were bitten buttons all over the bed and the screen was sopping wet with doggie drool.  =(  I ordered a new phone - a samsung solstice.  If I don’t like it, I can return it in 30 days; however, for a not smart phone (I’m too cheap to pay the $30 a month for a data plan), it seems to have a lot of apps and features.  We’ll see…

For Valentine’s day, I sat in the floor for 4 hours delivering three of these.

If I moved, Mia would move. =(  The next day, I called in sick to work being unable to move my neck up or to the right without tearing up…lol  TBF stood beside me and said, “Look at me, Renee.  Look up here.  Look!”…lol

So I’d noticed that things far away were getting blurry.  I decided it was time to get my eyes checked..and I was right.  I had to get glasses.  I have a pretty bad astigmatism and the dr said, “I want to show you something…this is what we call seeing.”…lol  She said I would no longer pass a driver’s test without glasses. =(  On the way home from picking up my glasses, I did what you should never do….took pictures with my phone to send to TBF…lol  Two pair for $99.  Tell me which you like better.

I always think about stuff I want to post while at work, but by the time I get home, I’m either too tired or there’s too many other things I need to do.  Posting never seems to get done.  I found one program that says it’s supposed to change my phone’s notes into a word processing program so I’m going to give it a whirl just as soon as I find the usb cord for my phone…lol  In he mean time, I’m still alive, still doing okay, and just being too lazy to post with the frequency I would like to. =(
